According to the Trentonian, the Hamilton Police Department is actively searching for two individuals whom they allege have been stealing packages off the front porch of a residence near Collins Road. The suspects were apparently caught on video surveillance removing several packages from the front porch on both November 25th and 28th. The one suspect was described as a heavy-set male, who was approximately 5’8 inches tall and wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie and white sneakers. The second suspect was of a more medium build but same height and was wearing dark pants and hoodie. Both of them were able to flee the area before authorities could be notified. As a result, the Hamilton Police Department is asking for anyone with information to please come forward.

If the suspects are ever apprehended by the Hamilton Police Department they will be charged with theft of movable property, trespassing, receiving stolen property and even possibly burglary. Depending on the value of the merchandise within the packages, both theft charges could be considered indictable offenses, which is New Jersey version of a felony. Which means, if convicted, the suspects would not only be saddled with a felony criminal record but could also land in State Prison for up to five years.
