For a second offense, a Defendant faces a 2 year loss of license, $500 – $1,000 in fines, 1 – 3 year imposition of the ignition interlock device, a $1,000 insurance surcharge for three years, 2 days in the intoxicated drivers resource center and up to 2 – 90 days in jail. For a third or subsequent offense, a Defendant faces a 10 year loss of license, a $1,000 in fine, 1 – 3 year imposition of the ignition interlock device, a $1,500 insurance surcharge for three years and 180 days in jail.
